Ferry Travelling with Children
Dover - Calais
Taking a ferry to Europe, or Calais inparticular, is far more suitable if you have children, then driving there yourself or taking the train or plain.
A ferry amongst many things has bundles of space with toys and activities to keep the kids enetertained as you relax, start your break early as you start to enjoy the cross channel ferry experience.
As an example of what travelling with a Ferry has to offer Sea France what they call a 'play zone' for children aged 2 - 8 years old. Its a dedicated children's play area with soft cushions allowing them to run and jump safely. They can even curl up with their teddy and watch a video.
For the older children travelling on the ferries they can ease away the time and enjoy the thrills of snowboarding, rally driving and motorcross in the board ferry arcade machines. Teenagers won't even notice the time passing as you travel to your destination of Calais.
